Adventurous.

Hello beautiful people, I am kind of nervous to write this because, I don’t know what kind of feedback I might recieve, but a little disclaimer that, this my point of view, and if you feel like I have inspired you; that would make me the happiest person in this world.

Now, It’s been a long time since I wanted to write an inspirational post, basically one of the reasons I launched this blog. but I kind of lost my inspirational self along the years.

So, what made me write this post is a certain situations where it made me realize that some people get the idea of adventure wrong.

I love to travel, to experience different things, but being in a conservative family, of course that won’t happen a lot, since I only travel with my parents, plus I’m underage.

one time, I told my mom that my adventurous self is being held, and that I’m not free (as a joke of course!) and my sister laughed way too hard and said: “YOU?! adventurous?”. so, my sister’s definition of adventure is the life of a party, doing things your parents won’t approve to, smoking, doing all things wrong. whatever else is shit.. but it’s not.

and another time one of my older sisters, know a girl (personally) that (I am NOT judging here) lives the way that not many parents approve to. but she only talks to a certain type of people. like the good looking; men and women. and they called her as “fun” person. Although I also know this girl personally, and she’s kind of lovely, but being fun is not about doing all things wrong.

and did you know that I’ve had many failing experiences in trying to be rebellious, but as I told you; I failed. I wanted to be like my sisters and my cousins; rebellious, but I couldn’t, not because I’m coward or anything, because I like to have nothing to hide. plus, I’m really genuine. and like you might call me a goodie-goodie but I don’t care; I won’t try hard to be rebellious anymore. haha.

My point is, you don’t have to do something rebellious to call yourself Adventurous. You don’t have to do illegal things to call yourself Adventurous. You don’t have to live the life of a party (while you don’t like it) to call yourself Adventurous. You won’t believe how I felt so pressured because everyone my age and older, have done so many rebellious things, and I only did a few. I sort of felt like a grandma.

don’t get me wrong, I am NOT a saint, I’ve done countless of shitty things. like, you don’t even know! haha!

only 2 weeks ago I found out I’m not as rebellious as the rest, and I will never be. but that what makes me who I am; Shahad. Not to lie, I kind of felt bad to find that out about myself haha.

Now, I’ve been to parties, and I’ve done bad things, and I found out that this world is not for me.

If that is not the definition of adventure; what IS the definition of adventure?..

The definition of adventure (from my point of view) is living life with no limits; I’m not talking the wrong limits; no! I am talking about something that I always try to do.. Is to NEVER STOP LEARNING.. Even if it’s useless, something non-realistic, something that won’t help with real life, everything you learn will help you with your life, even the least piece of fact you know, might help you someday, so never stop learning.

The second point is, LOVE EVERYONE. we all feel some kind of relativity when we read those memes about hating people for no reason; I do that all the time. You don’t have to love as in LOVE people. just think positively towards people; people are much nicer now than years ago when you were in middle school, or high school, or even in elementary. If you see something nice about someone tell them, you’re making their day, YES there’s some people who mistake being nice for flirting, but who cares?! It’s what you feel afterwards that matters! the point is to BE NICE. Talk to everyone, not certain people. this is living the life with no limits. No limits to hobbies, no limits to learning, no limits to people. Travel as long as you can, go to countries that not many people no about, it’s fun! trust me.

This post is for the people who doesn’t like the rebellious life, and feels pressured to be one. and who doesn’t like the life of a party but feels pressured to live it.

If you like that life? Girl, you do what you love, love what you do. you do you, I’ll be doing me; and everyone will be happy. No judging, no hard feelings.

P.S. It’s okay to do something wrong every once in a while to add some Adrenaline in your life. I do that.

And also, try new things, like for example if never partied before, go ahead and try it; you may love it, you may hate it. no pressure.

So, that was it, I really hope you guys liked this post, it’s kind of new for me. please note that I’m not judging anyone here, everyone got a certain point of view. It’s just people who have a different opinion than me on being adventurous; sometimes they only think that doing something wrong is an adventure; SOME people. And as for people like me; who are not really much of a rebels, feel pressured sometimes; especially my age 16-17. where we want to grow up and be reasonable adults, but we still wanna have fun (any kind of it.)

Thank you so much for reading this post, and I’ll see you next time.

Please be nice, this is my first time. I could take the constructive criticism, but be nice.

Love, Shahad..//

Recent collective haul..

DSC_0429 (1024x681).jpg

Hello my beauties, welcome back, i really missed you and also the blog and i miss talking to you. I’m really sorry for just cutting off the blog, just because I’ve been really busy, my final exams and then my sister’s wedding right after and then i had something similar to the SATs and school started right after. and I, basically, couldn’t get a hold of my life.

So, i collected some of my recent buys and show it to you in case you liked something, it’s still available (hopefully!)

starting off with clothing,,

the first store i wanna talk about is H&M..

DSC_0405 (1024x681).jpg

now, my obsession grew for high neck/turtle neck tops during this winter, and this top is one of my absolute favorites, because the neck isn’t too high, plus the sleeve have a subtle bell-sleeve cut to it, which makes it more unique than my other turtle neck tops.

DSC_0417 (1024x681).jpg

and socks??! Yes, my mom bought them and they ended up running a little bit small for her feet. so yeah, i like those and they really help when you wanna keep yo self warm 🙂

DSC_0428 (1024x681).jpg

i love this necklace and i love the fact that you can change the charm or whatever, really excites me, plus i love the marble look on the charms, especially the white one.

DSC_0410 (1024x681)

and i got their masks, now i’ve heard a fashion blogger (beauty isn’t much her thing) talk about them, saying that they’re good and all, recommending these. and i ended up getting the hydrating and moisturizing one, as you can most likely to see.

now, the smell of them is really good, and they are hydrating clay masks, so i felt like it’s kind of off, because usually clarifying masks are usually the clay ones, but maybe they know something we don’t. but i tried them, and i didn’t see a lot of hydration (especially i’ve needing some hydration lately) but they do make the texture of your skin really nice, so i don’t know about these..

P.S. Now that i looked back, that blogger was using the clarifying ones, maybe the clarifying ones are much better than the hydrating ones.

and then i went to a store called Jennyfer. (with a Y)

DSC_0416 (1024x681).jpg

& and I only got this top; i liked the details on the side, and the fact that is a crop top but not too cropped, and it’s quite loose. plus, i love the color palette of it.

I also went for the first time and bought something from a store called Springfield..

DSC_0407 (1024x681).jpg

I don’t know why, but i love this top, i love the peachy colors and it all written in French, it kind reminds me of the French 70’s style, bangs, flowers, peachy color palette, freckles, and all that, and a really important thing, fringes..!

DSC_0419 (1024x681).jpg

and i also got these pants, but they ended up being too big for me (which is surprising tbh) but i’ve been loving to wear comfy trousers more than wearing jeans, i mean i’ve been loving comfy clothes, a lot.

And then onto Victoria’s Secret, mainly for this…

DSC_0411 (1024x681).jpg

Now, because during the days of my sister’s wedding, i’ve been doing my own makeup, so i’ve carrying my makeup in multiple small makeup bags, and it’s really frustrating; you lose things, everything gets messy and all. so i bought this baby, and it’s so beautiful and big, and leopard and fierce and gold, and i love this baby. DSC_0413 (1024x681)

it’s pretty wide on the inside and holds all the makeup, including palettes and big bottles and also brushes.

DSC_0414 (1024x681).jpg

and this pocket pouch thing, is  so helpful for Q-tips and cotton pads for emergencies; and also blotting papers. plus it comes with a hanger if you feel like hanging your makeup bag, for space.

and also went to Bath & Body Works..

DSC_0425 (1024x681).jpg

Personally, i believe that BBW had some terrible lotions, and i had problem with their scents lingering (just like everything else) but when they improved the formula, i honestly became really impressed. so i didn’t get this myself, my mom got this for herself, but she ended up finding out that she had the full size of it, and she gave it to me.

DSC_0424 (1024x681)

since they don’t have new scents at the store, we bought from the White Barn candles in Japanese Cherry Blossom & a small Mahogany Teakwood. now my sister said that she didn’t like the Mahogany Teakwood, because it smelled like a man, i mean i love the Mahogany Teakwood scent more than the Japanese Cherry Blossom, I mean i feel like there’s some manliness in the scent but not that much, i would definitely buy the Mahogany Teakwood Intense, cause i love the scent and the jar is black and gold.

and I went to MAC Cosmetics and got only one pigment..

DSC_0426 (1024x681).jpg

I got Vanilla pigment, I use it as mostly highlighter, like on my cheeks; sometimes inner corner, and so far so good. I love the white rose gold sheen it gives to the face.

and I went to Sephora and they had a gift for me, for reaching the 200 points in the black card membership..

DSC_0437 (1024x681)

and that included a box of Too Faced goodies..

-Bulletproof 24hr shadow liner in Dirtbag: beautiful bronze shade, and it works really well for effortless smudgy eyeshadow look.

-Perfect liner in Perfect Black: awesome pencil for tightlining, and also for smudging eyeliner because of the smudging tool on the other end, really helps with creating the slight wing.

-Better than Sex (written Love here): i feel like this is one of the mascaras that is so good when it’s a little dried up, because the first time i used it, it was too heavy to lift my eyelashes, but when it got dried up, it is BOMB darling, it is BOMB.

and i also got a couple of things for me,..

DSC_0431 (1024x681)DSC_0432 (1024x681)

and because i was doing my own makeup for my sister’s wedding, i needed a contour kit. and i didn’t want one with multiple shades, just one with a single highlight shade and a single contour shade. So, i got myself the Marc Jacobs #InstaMarc contour kit in 40Mirage Filter. and it is so great, the shade are on point, and they blend like a dream, and the yellow powder isn’t too bright and yellow-y. so it’s perfect to me.

DSC_0435 (1024x681).jpg

now, i’m probably the last person on earth to try this. but now i get why people have been raving about this for years; IT TAKES A VILLAGE to take this off of your eyes, it is so good. and i got the shade Eden; cause i wanted it to act a concealer for my eyelids, because they’re on the darker side.

DSC_0433 (1024x681)DSC_0434 (1024x681) and i had to get the Huda Beauty Mink Lashes, and i got them in Naomi, great for Halo eyeshadow looks, they’re long, fluffy and wispy.. i love these. plus they’re so light on the eyes.

and i went to this Korean Beauty inspired store called The Face Shop and i only got one thing..

DSC_0436 (1024x681).jpg

It’s the Rice Water Brightening Light Cleansing Oil. and it works. cleansing oils are known for being excellent makeup removers. and this one works this way..

you message the oil into your skin with your clean hands, until all the makeup dissolves.

and then you rinse it off with only warm water. and trust me, it does NOT leave an oily residue on the skin. it just leaves your skin so soft, and it removes almost all the makeup.

plus, the rice water is known for brightening, so overtime with using this. your skin will get even brighter.

so, i guess that was it for the haul, really hope you enjoyed it, hopefully i’ll get to write more, because i miss writing for the blog.

Thank you so much for reading and i’ll see you next time.

So much love, Shahad..//

Empties vol.2 : Will I purchase these again?!

empties logo

Hello beauties!! welcome back !! It has been two weeks since I posted something, I haven’t posted anything last Friday because it was my sister’s bachelor party, and let me tell ya, I had the time of my life!! It was fun as HELL !! anyways, let’s move onto the empties, so welcome to the second part of my empties, my first one was in May, and now it’s December, so it’s been like 7 months (OMG!!) this time the products are more, there’s around 30 products, so i have categorized them in the photos so i won’t hibernate after taking them.

So, I’m gonna start with cleansers..

DSC_0171 (1024x681).jpg

(from left to right)

Nivea Gentle Face Cleanser: This is a cream cleanser for dry skinned people, it’s actually really good for hydrating your skin if you have dry skin, so i would actually recommend it, if you’re cream cleanser type of person.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser: I finished this and another sample bottle, I actually got a lot of Kiehl’s samples when i was in Paris. So, I really like this cleanser, it does the job well, but I won’t purchase the full size of it, cause there’s a lot better drugstore cleansers on the market.

Clean & Clear Morning Energy Brightening Cleanser: This one I  liked the most, because it definitely made my face feel so fresh, plus it got some sparkles inside the bottle, so I really like this cleanser, and it’s the type that I’ll repurchase.

Okay, moving on to other skin care products,..

DSC_0174 (1024x681).jpg

Garnier Makeup Remover Milk: This one is also for dry skin, and as it says on the bottle, it got rose extract, although i bought 2 bottles of this back in the day, i feel like now i didn’t like it that much, there was definitely much better products on the market, i didn’t repurchase, and i don’t think i will in the future.

L’Oreal Hydra Total 5 Gel-cream: This one is my second bottle, and i recommended it to my sister, and she loved it. If I didn’t bought another moisturizer, i would’ve bought it for the third time 🙂

Guerlain Orchidée Impériale: obviously won’t purchase the full size, cause i’m too young for that, but this is such a great serum for the face, plus it smells heavenly, and makes your skin looks and feels so good.

And since we still talking about the face, let’s talk makeup!! ..

DSC_0179 (1024x681)

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB: I got the shade Medium, and my thoughts on it would be “It’s ok” basically, it’s not bad, and it’s not great, i just didn’t like the fact that when you blend it out, it almost seems like nothing. the coverage didn’t really speak to my soul. and there’s definitely things better on the market, but that just my opinion.

Boutjois Healthy Mix Foundation: absolutely amazing foundation, I feel like if i’m done experimenting, i would probably go back to it, because it’s really good, it has been treating me well when i was using it, it’s satin-natural finish from what i tried, but it’s one of the best drugstore foundations, it’s actually my first foundation ever.

Victoria’s Secret Glossy Tint: I got this wayyy back in 2013 when the VSFS just aired and i was obsessed with their makeup look, and Candice Swanepoel. so i discovered that they used this in the show (the shade is Boudoir Pink) along with a color that  i don’t remember the shade’s name, but this is like a light, sheer everyday nude pink color, and i liked it, but i won’t repurchase it, actually it’s discontinue. so, thank god i don’t like it that much, and not many people go crazy for VS makeup.

L’Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim: I didn’t like it AT ALL!! like i only swatched it once, and it dried out completely, and i was carefully closing it, and try to keep it fresh and all, but it’s not great. although so many Youtube gurus recommend it, but i had a different experience with it. To me, it’s crap.

moving on to hair products, starting off with hair masks..

DSC_0175 (1024x681).jpg

these two hair masks are super affordable, especially here in SA. you can find them in supermarkets, herbalists, everywhere, and they’re not pricey at all.

Schwarzkopf Bonawell Apricot Oil & Pro Vitamin B5: this has been setting in my drawer for months, and i felt like it needs some love, so i tried it; i liked it, i recommend it, but i won’t repurchase it, maybe because i feel like there’s a whole lot better products on the market, but if you feel like trying something new without the risk, this one won’t let you down.

Silver Moon First Aid Doctor for Hair: this is such a great mask, i highly recommend it if you can find it, the consistency is thicker than the Beauty Formulas Avocado Oil treatment in my first empties post, but the result is the same, which i find it great.

it’s time for leave-in conditioners…

DSC_0176 (1024x681).jpg

Sunsilk x Ouidad Leave in conditioner: it’s really good, smells great, it’s the thickest leave in conditioner I’ve ever used consistency wise, and i really like it, and i highly recommend it for curly haired babes, cause it makes the curl less frizzy, shiny, and nourished.

Wella Pro Series Leave in balm for colored hair: it’s a spray form, didn’t do any harm or good for me, i didn’t like it, the fact that it’s a spray irritated me, so glad it’s over.

moving on to hair serums..

DSC_0177 (1024x681)

L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil: finished my second bottle, and on my way finishing my third one. I just LOVE this serum.

Garnier Fructis Split-Ends Damage: it’s really good, but nothing replaces L’Oreal’s serum in my heart ❤

Okay, let’s talk body products..

DSC_0178 (1024x681).jpg

Victoria’s Secret Angel Dream Lotion: this lotion supposed to be my mom’s, but she gave it to me, and i was stuck with it until i finished it up. now the delivery system sucks, the cream itself way too runny, and the smell is not that great, i mean the perfume smelled really nice, but when it came to the lotion, i wouldn’t recommend it that much.

Fair & White Paris Serum Exclusive Whitenizer w/ Vitamin C: the whole review on it is right here .

L’Occitane Amande Milk Concentrate: Remember when i got this on my birthday back in January, and I showed it in a Birthday Haul. Well, now it’s empty, i would ABSOLUTELY repurchase, are you kidding me!! this is so good, and i love L’Occitane, this was a major success!! and i highly recommend it! !

Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss mini lotion: B&BW have definitely improved their products, formula and packaging, so i bought the Dark Kiss lotion, it smelled so yummy, but i won’t repurchase it again, because i like trying new scents (I used to be a signature scent type of girl, but i’m not anymore).

and then going for random but important things for the body..

DSC_0172 (1024x681)

Victoria’s Secret Love Spell Body Wash: i felt like buying this was useless, because the scent didn’t linger on my skin, this is actually came in minis set of (body wash, lotion, and body mist) but i always had problem with body wash scents lingering on my body, so the idea of buying a body wash matching to my lotion, is a waste of money for me. would not repurchase it.

Rexona Women Cotton Dry deodorant stick: I love Rexona’s deodorant sticks, they really do the job, but the cotton scent wasn’t really great, so i discovered the Bamboo scent (the green one) it smells so good, i’m happy that i found the scent that i like in Rexona. because i really like the deodorants, but i hated the available scents, now i have something that i like.

Nivea Stress Protect deodorant roll-on: it’s ok, like it’s really liquid-y , so you need time before wearing something and i don’t really have much time in the morning, plus it doesn’t last for long, and i’m a “sweaty” girl. i need help most of the time. and this product doesn’t help as much as Rexona’s.

the last thing i’m going to talk about is perfumes, that i finished up..

DSC_0180 (1024x681).jpg

The Body Shop Fijian Water Lotus Body Mist: It smells fresh, and nice, i recommend it for a light, fresh, everyday, morning scent, but since i like trying new things, i won’t repurchase it.

Abdul Samad Al-Qurashi Hair Perfume: this is absolutely amazing for the hair, and it lingers, and it’s not harmful, plus it’s so luxurious. now, this little bottle lasted me 10 months and i used them almost every time i take a shower, meaning twice a week, plus my sisters used it with me. so this little bottle does last for long. not only you use it on your hair, but you can use it on your body by mixing it with your lotion. it’s custom scent, you choose what suits, i don’t remember the name, but i asked for a floral-y, french eau de parfum scent. I bought my second one recently.

Giorgio Armani Si: this is the cutest sample ever, i love samples that look exactly like the full bottle, and the scent is so yummy, and i may buy the full bottle, maybe not, who knows, but i really like it.

Acqua Di Parma Gelsomino Nobile eau de parfum: finished 2 samples of these, (although i got the full size one) but they gave me a whole bunch of samples when i was in Paris (check the full Paris beauty haul). and this scent is such a heavenly scent, i will repurchase it, and i highly recommend it to everyone, it smells the yummiest, and i got so many compliments when i wear this.

Acqua Di Parma Magnolia Nobile eau de parfum: this one smells really light and fresh, more fresh flower-y than the Gelsomino Nobile, but it’s really beautiful and i recommend it.

Acqua Di Parma Nobile Gelsomino eau de toilette: same great scent, but lighter, due it’s name eau de toilette.

Okay, finally; it took 2 weeks to finish it, sorry i’ll be away for a bit, cause i finals the next 2 weeks, and they will be hectic.

I really hope you liked this post, thank you so much for reading, and i’ll see you hopefully very soon..

Paris Fashion Haul.

DSC_3000 (1024x681)

hello my beauties! welcome back! i promise this is the last Paris related post but i have to do this.

the reason i did this really late, is because one of the things i got the zipper was broken, so i had to get the zipper changed.

okay, now one of things on a girl bucket list is to shop in Paris, and i did it!!

let’s start with clothing and move on with accessorize.

the first store i went was Zara..

DSC_2703 (1024x681)

and the first thing that caught my eyes, is this Khaki long shirt, it’s chic, trendy, i love khaki colors, and it’s classy.

it was also available in White, Black, and i think Navy! but i had to get it in the khaki color.

DSC_2704 (1024x681)

image3

Since i always get tops, dresses, i thought why not pick a bottom! so i got this culotte, i feel like i never had something like this, so i got it! and it’s a neutral color so it looks chic!

DSC_2705 (1024x681) image1

the last thing i got from Zara, is this top, which is great as an everyday wear. and i love some contrast and color block and mixing textures for my everyday tops.

and the next stop was H&M and i only got one thing, that i had to go up and down the store looking for it.

DSC_2706 (1024x681) (2) image1 ‫‬

it’s this top, as i was walking down the streets i saw it on a mannequin on a window, and i fell in LOVE! and i felt like “that top is mine!!” and i am so glad that i got it!!

moving on to accessorize..

and i got some stuff from H&M while i was there..

DSC_2706 (1024x681)

i love this necklace because it’s so versatile and i wear gold a lot, and i can layer it with anything.
DSC_2707 (1024x681)

this “each ear is different” type of earrings won my heart over! especially the arrow pair ❤

DSC_2708 (1024x681)and i need those are for school, (i already used one to section off my hair, and i lost it 😦 )

DSC_2705 (1024x681) (2)

and the last thing i got is this chevron, black, white, and (maybe mirror, maybe gold?!) phone case, and i love it,and it seems like everyone i meet likes it, since i get some compliments on it too.

and then i went to Accessorize.

DSC_2710 (1024x681)

and i got these lovely babies, aren’t they gorgeous?!! they’re mesmerizing!!
DSC_2711 (1024x681)

and i got this 2 pack necklaces, and it’s totally my style, stones and geometric-y shapes. and layering!

DSC_2713 (1024x681)and when i saw this i knew it was mine! a flash tattoo, that has henna shapes, like really?? i had to get this!! i’ve been obsessed with mandalas lately! i’m addicted!

DSC_2665 (1024x681)

Hello beauties! welcome back! so, today i want to take on sneak peek into the Ramadan Event that was hosted in our house by my eldest sister,it was for my nephews. i’m not explain to you what it is, because it’s a long explanation, that only people who used to do it in the past knows about it! and all you Arab viewers knows about it! but i’m gonna tell you about the little details, such as games, or whatever!

it had..

-a dessert table. (with candies from back in the days, and Arabian desserts)

-a Camel Party game. (the one where you stick the tail! you know what i mean?!)

-a Dinner table. (with some of the traditional Arabic main courses and entrées )

-a Henna for kids.

and now, i’ll leave you with the pictures..

and that’s it for the pictures! and just so you know, i appreciate all religions and they’re holidays and events, so please respect mine, i just want to show you a part of my life, and show you an Arabian themed gathering.

Love, Shahad../

Chétêau de Versailles.

Hello beauties! welcome back! this is my last travel post (not really! i still have my fashion haul coming up, but i need to fix the zipper of one of my pants!). but we went to Versailles, and it was hot and sweaty, and crowded, and i felt like shit afterwards, but the palace from the inside is gorgeous, we thought about leaving a couple of times while we were waiting in line, but i thought “why not wait, it might be worth it!” and it did.

Paris Cafés & Restaurants Guide for Muslims +1

DSC_2719 (1024x681)

Hello lovelies welcome back! so today, i thought i’d post something (hopefully!) useful for you.

As you all know, Muslims don’t really eat everything due to religious instructions, such as pork, alcoholic drinks..

also, Paris is known for its fine wine and all. so, it’s kind of hard for Muslims to find something to eat! although Paris also full of restaurants that follow the Islamic Instructions. and i have a good list from Cafés for breakfast, to restaurants for lunch & dinner. and i have one restaurants for when you’re in Bailly Romainvilliers.

And not necessarily Muslims go there, i made this list for everyone, these are just the places i went to when i visited France. anyone, can go anywhere.

Cafés../

there are plenty of Cafés in Paris, basically in every step you take.. and i’m gonna list to you some of the places i went to.

i wasn’t big on breakfast back there, but if you are, i know these will be good for you.

La Pain Quotedien : this is an entirely organic café, and some of my favorite picks were; Blueberry Muffin, Orange Juice, And Pain Au Chocolat (When in France, try Pain Au Chocolat!).

La Grand Opéra : this one has that 20’s vibe to it, and i loved the tables in there, we only went there two times. my picks were; Choclate Crepe, Croissant, and Orange Juice.

Restaurants../

Noura : this is a Lebanese restaurant, they have the most amazing shawarma, and it’s all Halal.

Le Madeleine : I can’t really rate this restaurant, but they have the best Pesto Pasta, and with Parmesan Cheese; it’s heaven!

Café di Roma : we went there by accident, and we got hooked! it’s basically a pizzaria, but they have the best pizza ever, you should totally try the Halal pizza they have, it’s the best! and try the Arrabiata Tagliatelle! Ahhmazing!

Melodie : It’s a turkish restaurant, only tried it once, not my favorite, but it’s Halal!

Al-Ajami : It’s this fancy, schmancy, Arabic restaurant, but it’s so good, Muslim or not, try it! you’ll love it!!

Restaurant in Bailly Romainvilliers../

we only stayed like 2 days, one we had lunch at Disney Land, and the other day we went to another restaurant.

Warsi : it’s an Indian restaurant, but the food, oh the food! so delicious! you have to visit it, if you ever went to Bailly Romainvilliers!

DSC_3000 (1024x681)

Hello lovelies! how are you today?! so i had the lovely experience (that’s been on the “i doubt if this will ever happen in life” bucket list) of being on top of the Eiffel tower! ISN’T THAT CRAZY!! i know, i know!

Okay, let’s start with the feeling. it’s the best experience in life, still can’t believe it! it’s the highlight of my life! done.

Tour guide, his name is Alex, sweetest, funniest guy i’ve met in Paris. couldn’t get over him until i went shopping!

And i had a blast up there (it’s weird to say “up there” as in Eiffel Tower!!)

move on to the photos..

But first, a little peek into the souvenir shop..

And just before we’re leaving, we were surprised on how crowded the place suddenly got! and it turns out there will be a PARADE!! (Lucky us!) i actually knew it when it was crowded, but i don’t know, like i’ve never been to a parade before, so it was magical to me! it was the Disney Magic Celebration (thing!) Parade, i don’t know. but i did everything i could to cover most of the parade for YOU!

C’est Paris

DSC_3017 (1024x681)Hello my loves, welcome back! So, as promised i’m writing for you today, and the big reveal of my vacation is I’VE BEEN TO PARIS!! this seems like a dream to me, this is my first time in France ever, or even first time in Europe basically.

So, Paris is gorgeous af, and we stayed in Opéra. and it’s a gorgeous, almost safe region (Not as safe as the Champs-Élysées but it’s great) i almost a pro at walking my way back to the hotel, because it’s really easy to trace your ways back in Paris. now, what i really loved in Paris is that you walk all. the. time. like we used to walk everywhere. so, i was lucky enough to take some snapshots while walking down the streets, and some photos from the car, when the cab driver wasn’t too fast. Now, I am gonna leave with some of the snapshots.

Something i noticed is that, some French people don’t speak English as good as they speak Arabic, i was shocked that the amount of people who speak Arabic-French, is larger than the amount of people who speak English-French. most of them came from The North of Africa. (Moroccan,Algerian, Tunisian, etc..)
DSC_2817 (1024x681) DSC_2818 (1024x681) DSC_2819 (1024x681)

One thing really fascinates me, is Paris at nighttime. when they say that Paris is luminous at night, they mean it. It is just breath-taking.

.. and what’s more beautiful, is Paris at 6 am.
