Hello friends!! 12/10/1435 (Arabic Calendar) – 10/4/2014 (Georgian Calendar) was the first day of Eid Al- Adh’ha, it the second Eid/holiday of the year. today i’m going to show hair, makeup and outfit.. so, let’s get started!!
Let’s start with hair (because it’s the easiest to talk about 🙂 ) this is the hair inspiration, so i just blow dried my hair and use a (1 inch) curling iron as a wand.. easy as that 🙂
For makeup there’s a version for day and one for night (there’s not much of a difference only the intensity of the eyes and lips)
I never wear a matte finish skin, i just hate it on myself personally, but i like it on other people. so, to prevent that, and have a dewy finish, i mix my moisturizer with a liquid highlighter, to make my skin look glow-y and hydrated..
Primers; for face primer, i use the Bare Minerals Prime Time; makes my skin feel awesome!! For eye primer, i used the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Tip: Using an eye primer underneath the eye area, will make sure your concealer stays in place.
Foundation & Concealer; i used the Maybelline BB Cream all over my face, and then used Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for places that have a little discoloration (like, sides of the nose, my chin). and for concealers, i used the Garnier Roll-on for under my eyes, and used the pale yellow powder to set the area. for the lids i used the Bobbi Brown concealer, cause the texture is better for the lids.
Fun Fact: i didn’t use the foundation or the under eye concealer, as much as my dark circles are (DARK!) i actually prefer my face without covering them. so i just used a bb cream underneath my eyes, and set it with a brightening powder.
Setting my face with Maybelline Fit Me Powder, and moving on to the cheeks..
For cheeks i was going for a bronze, glowing look, so i (of course!) used a matte bronzer ( The Body Shop Honey Bronzer) in it’s old rubbed off packaging, and then used a rose gold, bronze-y blush (NYX Terracotta), for a finishing touch of glow, i used The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer.
i used this combo because, the eyes and lips are colorful, so i prefer using (kind of!) a neutral toned blush.
and here’s where things start to change from day and night:
For the Day:
Exchanging the brown gel liner to black. and to intensify the look used the white pearl pencil in the inner corner under the shimmery shadow, the black pencil to tight line, and the matte white on the waterline,
-Maybelline Black Gel liner.
-NYX White Pearl pencil.
-NYX Black Slide On Pencil.
-NYX White Pencil.
Finishing off the eyes by using Lancôme Hypnose Star Mascara for my top lashes. and for my bottom lashes, i use Maybelline The Falsies since it has become more of a dry formula, and the brush is curved, so it’s good for the bottom lashes.
For the night look, to intensify the peach(iness) of the look, i applied a lipstick before the gloss, using Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté in no.13, and on top of it NYX Apple Strudel.
..And Voila! we finished the makeup look.. 🙂
