Eid GRWM+Tips!

large

Sometimes, getting ready for special occasions can take only 4-5 hours when it’s only one event! but when it’s more than event; Like Eid, is normally more than one day and event! so it might take several days to get ready for a long term events! i would get ready around the week of the event maybe 3 days beforehand.

3 Days Before:

Brush Cleaning: I’d say do that before 3 days of the event mainly because you will get out of the house only to run some errands and you won’t meet anyone special (maybe?!) and in some cases where you want to look put together, use cream products with what god have gave to you FNGERS!

1 Day Before:

Hand & Feet Care: This is where you want to take time and pamper yourself a little more! because you shake hands, where (killer!) heels, and take full length photo (maybe!). so you want to take the extra time and effort to exfoliate your hand and feet with any scrub you have; i like creating my own scrub for this purpose. i already did my feet at a salon, but if i would at home i would do it this way. clip your nail if you have UNPREDICTABLY weak nails like me, or keep them nice and long by filing them! and then keep them nice and hydrated with hand and foot cream.

Bleach Facial Hair: I like bleaching my facial hair (Such as my extra unwanted brow hairs, PEACH FUZZ!) and all that kind of jazz! i make the bleaching paste with a Blonde coloring powder i use the Wella BLONDOR powder for lightening the hair (DO NOT USE IT ON YOUR HAIR! ONLY FACIAL HAIR!) and to make it paste-y and ready to use, i mix it with a liquid oxygen (You will probably think like “Woah isn’t it dangerous?!”) it is dangerous if you put too much of it and the smell quite potent and suffocating! and it might cause burns on the skin if you put too much!  let it set for 30 minutes and wipe off with tissue and water. and if you ever have a problem with skin irritation use the one and only Rosewater.

The Night Before:

Pre-Shower :

Hair Treatment: I know it looks GROSS!! but that’s what natural hair treatments look like! it’s actually a mix eggs, yogurt, and couple of beneficial oils. and if you want a post on this treatment let me know:) you can use the Oils treatment that i already made a post on it you can check it out right here. let it set for an 30 minutes or an hour.

Shave Or Epilate (or Both!):  While the hair treatment sets, shave (or epliate!) for shaving i use the Gilette Venus razor range this year i’ll be using the Pro Skin Razor. and For Epilating i use the Braun Skin-Épil7 and Braun have the best epilators. for Arms i shave, for legs i epilate. epilating arms can hurt af, so i’d rather shave my arms. and i also use razor for underarms and other places.

Epilating tips: To minimize the redness or irritation while you are epilating, i use the Veet Pre-Epilation Comfort Spray, and it’s smells fresh and minty and it’s very cooling. (only use for epilation!)

Shaving tips: to make shaving a lot smoother i definitely recommend the Gilette V Satin Skin Shaving Gel, this is the only shaving gel i use, and it helps so much, you just pump it into your hands and rub it to create a foam-y texture apply it to the desired area and Shave!

In The Shower: (only body and face!)

Get in the shower, rinse the treatment, wash your hair, condition it and move on to the body..

Exfoliate: as much as i like making my own beauty treatments and scrubs, i have to use this one because i want to get rid of it! it’s good but i like making my own, with natural ingredients. okay, now exfoliate your skin, i use the St.Ives Brightening body scrub, i like it, but i won’t repurchase it, mainly because (again!) i like creating my own.

Make Your Body Smell Good!: Here’s a sweet summer option for you! it’s the boujois Sweet Summer shower oil. i use it with an exfoliating gloves to further clean my skin. (If you have sensitive skin don’t use the scrub, the exfoliating gloves are enough!).

Facial Exfoliation: this is important to me, because it will make your face so fresh and renewed and Life-Ready! i like the Garnier PureActive because it’s just amazing!

Post-Shower:

Pore Refining Strips: This is a great step for cleaning the pores, and also clearing out the T-zone. i use the Nivea Refining Clear-Up Strips. And i love this stuff because it comes with a nose strips, and with a chin and forehead strips. HOW AMAZING!

Face Mask + A Skin Care Tip: This is could be either for extra cleaning for the T-zone, or for hydrating, today i used the “extra cleaning” one! which is the Soap& Glory Scrub Your Nose In It. Can be found at Boots.

The Skin Care Tip: because the products we used are quite dehydrating. to prevent your face from drying, i suggest using a skin milk, i use the Methode Cholley Bioregene Lait. which is quite hydrating, can be found at Boots.

Lip Care: I make my own lip scrub, it’s kind of the same thing as the hand scrub, but with something more. anyway, i keep mine in an old MAC pot, i exfoliate my lips near the sink, and wipe off with a towel and then apply lipbalm, i use the Labello Lip Butter ( it’s a German Brand) and of course Vaseline.

Body Moisturizing: Keepin’ it simple here. I like using the Bath & Body Works Dark Kiss, because i like the not-too-sweet scent! it got the right amount of everything!

DSC_1342 (1024x681)

Hair Care: After i towel-dried my hair, i use my favorite leave-in conditioner. Which is the Wella Pro Series Frizz Control. Let it air dry.

DSC_1346 (1024x681)

Blow Drying: Why I Air Dried My Hair, While I Will Use A Blow Dry It?! i use blow my hair because i have a curly, frizzy hair. And i blow dry it to smooth it out. This Blow Dryer we had for years, and i don’t really know anything about it! other than it’s by the brand Elchim (I think!).

Heat Styling: Here, where the magic happens! at least for me! anyways, before styling, i use the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil, and using a curling iron as wand (i think it’s 1 inch!) and it’s by One Tech. and finish it off with L’Oreal Elnette Hair Spray.

Mouth Washing: Finally! wash your mouth to have a beautiful fresh breath! i use the Colgate Optic White Mouthwash. and after that you can go and do your make up and dress up!
